This hike is labeled HARD! This is approximately 11.4 miles and will take approximately 8 hours to hike it if we hike it there and back without camping . The elevation gain is 3,720 ft. It’s in the Brasstown Wilderness. We will need to start early at 8am since it’s a long hike with lots of elevation.
It is labeled one of the hardest hikes in north Ga, so you HAVE to be an experienced hiker to be able to do this adventure. This is NOT for beginners. This has steep climbs, fallen trees, and a rock scramble. The first mile is a hard, steep inline.
you will need a 3 L hydration pack, snacks and trekking poles.
